Gavin Henson has said that he is determined to finally come good on Strictly Come Dancing.

The Welsh rugby star has struggled to impress the judges on the BBC One show since his opening waltz routine. He only scored 19 points for his salsa in week two, while his rumba last Saturday fared only slightly better, earning him 22 points.

However, speaking on It Takes Two about his upcoming tango, the father-of-two said: "I think this could be my forté. The one dance that I could be good at. This could be it. It's such a serious dance.

"You need a moody angry face, which I can do, and then the legs are going crazy underneath... I wouldn't write me off just yet. I am a winner."

His pro partner Katya Virshilas added: "This dance is much close to Gavin's natural ability. We've been struggling for the last couple of weeks, but I think this week, we can take a really big step forward."

Strictly airs on Saturday at 6pm on BBC One.
