Scott Maslen has become the new bookmakers' favourite to win the Strictly Come Dancing crown.

The EastEnders actor has replaced TV presenter Matt Baker with bookmakers Paddy Power following his 39 point-scoring Viennese waltz.

Maslen is now rated at 13/8, shortly ahead of Baker at 7/4. Ex-soap star Kara Tointon (5/1) and Pamela Stephenson (7/1) are also being hotly tipped for success.

Ann Widdecombe is now backed with odds as short as 12/1, ahead of Jimi Mistry (18/1) and Felicity Kendal (33/1).

Gavin Henson (50/1), Patsy Kensit (80/1) and Michelle Williams (100/1) are now considered longshots and likely to be battling against elimination this weekend.
