Lilia: 'Widdecombe is getting ridiculous'

Former Strictly Come Dancing pro Lilia Kopylova has taken a swipe at Ann Widdecombe for her lack of effort on the BBC One show.

Kopylova, who was axed from the reality show earlier this year, backed judge Craig Revel Horwood's assessment of Widdecombe's recent samba performance, which he described as "overwhelmingly awful".

Writing in her Reveal magazine blog, she said: "Ann Widdecombe is getting ridiculous now, isn't she? She didn’t even do anything!

"The last couple of weeks at least she seemed to have tried but, this weekend, she didn’t even seem to do that! And those yellow leggings didn’t detract from the dance at all! As Craig said, ‘it was overwhelmingly awful’ and I can’t help but agree."

Kopylova also criticised new pro dancer Robin Windsor, claiming that he was "going off-time, every week" when he performed with Patsy Kensit. "Maybe he gets over-excited, but there's no excuse for a pro to go off time," she wrote.
