The actress, who picked up 28 points for her samba with Robin Windsor, said that she expected to be voted off the show when she found herself in the bottom two with Felicity Kendal.
"I don't think it was our best dance," she told It Takes Two. "And being in the bottom two with Felicity - I think she danced beautifully. She danced like a princess and I got off on the wrong trotter, as Len put it. I was so ready to go. But I have been every week."
Kensit said that she would miss The Good Life star, admitting that she "howled" with tears after Sunday's results show.
Speaking about her upcoming Argentine tango performance, she said: "I wanted to get to Blackpool and I wanted to dance the Argentine tango. I am a very satisfied customer. Strictly has been brilliant for me. It's done everything that it said on the packet.
"We've only done a little bit of training this week because I've got a bad foot and we're all really tired, but we're soldering on."
Strictly continues on Saturday at 6.30pm on BBC One.
