Baker 'to attempt dangerous Strictly stunt'

Matt Baker has claimed that he will attempt the most dangerous stunt ever seen on Strictly Come Dancing during tonight's show.

The presenter, who will dance the jive with partner Aliona Vilani, told The Sun that the routine involves somersaulting from the judges' desk.

He said: "I'll somersault off the judges' desk and over the stairs. Then I'll turn back as I land on the dance floor. It's the most crazy, dangerous thing ever on Strictly and the judges will get a very good view of it.

"But we're looking to get into the semis so I'm not holding back now. I'm really going to start risking it."

Baker added that he will reference Austin Powers for the movie-themed show, saying: "I think we'll go for the glasses but I'm not sure about the wig. And if I somersault off the judges' desk wearing Austin Powers's teeth, it might be a health and safety issue!"
