Widdecombe: 'I will dance in Dartmoor'

By
Ann Widdecombe has revealed that she may continue to dance in private after Strictly Come Dancing.

Widdecombe previously stated that she had no intention to carry on after the reality show ended, but the former Conservative MP has now hinted that she may keep up her practising when she is on her own in the countryside.

Writing in her Radio Times blog, she said: "The most common question I’m asked is, 'Will you carry on dancing?' No, not in any formal sense. But I know there will be a moment soon when I've resumed my normal exercise of moor walking and I’m stomping over a wet bit of Dartmoor in my hiking boots, I will look down at my unpromising footwear and then all around me to make sure no-one is watching.

"Then, before the startled eyes of roaming cattle, I shall dance around the damp, uneven ground, imagining myself in a glittering gown, waltzing in the arms of Anton Du Beke."
