Len: (9) "What I loved: you captured the spirit of the dance - I could almost see the blood swelling in your bosom as the music started and the passion kicked in. It was full-on, I thought it worked really well, and I thought you did a great job. I thoroughly enjoyed it."
Alesha:(9) "From start to finish you were focused and in character. You're fiesty, you're in control, you're like a woman on a mission. And you've maintained your standard from last week. Brilliantly played."
Bruno: (9) "What I really liked was that disdainful look on your face. Like, boy don't mess with me 'cos you can't afford me. That girl knows what she wants, she's gonna get it."
Craig: (8) "Strong lines, full of major attitude and conviction. Also, great use of the skirt - I thought that was fantastic. Some parts were a little bit - I'm just being honest - laboured, and I think that affected your intent in the transitions. Technical, I know. And there were three solo wobble moments as well. Apart from that, it was terrific."
Alesha: (10) "You mirror each other perfectly. You're so synchronised - that was a very fast Viennese waltz which you delivered exceptionally well. I don't think you realise how good you are. You're very unassuming which is a very endearing quality. It was simply beautiful."
Bruno: (10) "Beauty of light, quality of movement, expression in musical phrasing which is the hardest thing to do. You made it absolutely a work of art."
Craig: (9) "Speed, flow, finishes all very good, and as Bruno said the musical phrasing was spectacular. Er, I was just concerned about the end really because your foot came off the floor twice. It did, which turns it technically into a lift.
Len: (10) "Don't listen to Craig. If I'm dreaming, don't wake me up because in the years that we've done Strictly, I've seen two fantastic Viennese waltzes. One was yours, and one was yours."
Bruno: (7) "Gavin, you certainly look the part, and performance-wise you certainly have improved. But, rhythm and timing! Samba is all about rhythm, it's about letting go and listening to the music. I still feel you don't quite connect to the music all the way. There is still something lacking, but there is a slight improvement in how you come out and sell it."
Craig: (6) "He is right, you did lack rhythm; arms were very, very sloppy. I don't know what I really thought about that lift because both feet were obviously off the floor. But the good thing is the rotation in the hip was well worth the 279.5 hours you've been rehearsing over the series."
Len: (7) "You know, sometimes this competition takes a bit of luck. We've just seen Kara do a dance which really really suited her, and you have had to come out and do a samba which is technically hard for a man which didn't suit you unfortunately. The rhythm wasn't right, and it's just one of those things. You've got the guns, but on this dance you didn't have the ammunition."
Alesha: (7) "I did like the opening section, you did work your bottom brilliantly. But unfortunately the guys the guys are right, the dance didn't suit you. Ballroom is your best dance, but while you're not the best dancer in this competition, you're the most improved, so well done."
Craig: (8) "Er, firstly I loved it - it was very very good - however there needs to be more swivel on your closes. All the way through that dance, the man should really lead and control the woman, and it's the man that determines how the woman should dance. And I really didn't get a hint of that through it. What else? Freedom, darling, with the kicks - the legs need to be a lot more closer- but I really loved the routine, it was good."
Len: (8): "You got the mood of the dance most of the time, the lifts were good. I wasn't convinced that you were like a young, hot guy out on the town trying to pick up a young bit of totty. I didn't get that feeling that there was enough connection between the two of you. You were very deadpan, which I understand, but I would've liked a little bit more."
Alesha: (8) "A slick opening section on your own at the beginning, I thought that was very well done. Seductive and intense, nice transitions in-and-out of the lifts. But Len's right, there was just something lacking slightly in your body. I would've liked to see a bit more strength in your performance. But well done."
Bruno: (9) "Well I think I got it, Scott. Because it wasn't flashy, but it was it a lover, was it a stalker? You never gave the game away. But, it was very intense and very focused and it was played in a different way. It was very effective and very right."
Len: (7) "Basically, I think you've been so good throughout this whole series. Your standard has been really high, you've been constant, but this for me was not that good. We've done a lot of forward and back basic, but it was too big. After the New York you did a little flick and you lost your time there. I don't think the lifts felt the flavour of salsa, and overall I was disappointed."
Alesha: (7) "I actually liked the opening lift, I thought it was brave of you to do that. And a lot of the lifts were really, really good. Yes, there was a lot of basic salsa, but I would've liked to have seen a lot more of the armography that comes with the salsa. I didn't like that gliding section down there - that was unnecessary. And you are still a little bit stiff. I want you to relax. It's too much in the head, not enough in the body."
Bruno: (7) "They're right, because I know [Matt] wants this very, very badly and you're working very very hard, but salsa is smooth, flirtatious. You have to let it happen. It was a slight misjudgement, that's why it's been a bit of a surprise, because you're very good. Salsa is very simple, lots of art, it never stops, lots of flow. This was like an attack in Jurassic Park."
Craig: (7) "Balance was off after the first underarm spin. Timing of the thick-kick was completely wrong. Also I thought there was too much isolation in the routine. It just looked awkward."
