Forsyth: 'Strictly better than last year'

The veteran presenter said that the programme had been hugely improved from last year and said that the addition of Ann Widdecombe to the lineup had been excellent decision.
"It has been so much better than last year in so many ways. We got off to a much better start, the people are much more varied and it has buzzed along and buzzed along," he told It Takes Two.
"And although there was a lot of talk about Ann Widdecombe and it being a dance show. We all know it's a dance show, but Ann Widdecombe brought more laughs than any other celebrity down the last seven years.
"She was a valuable asset and a lot of people were tuning in just to see her."
The Strictly final airs on Saturday at 7pm on BBC One.
