Stephenson 'to earn £1m from Strictly'

Pamela Stephenson will earn around £1 million from her appearance on Strictly Come Dancing, it has been claimed.

According to the Sunday Mirror, the psychologist has been "bombarded" with television offers after shedding two-and-a-half stone during her time in the competition.

Stephenson said: "I would definitely ­consider doing a fitness DVD."

She added that husband Billy ­Connolly would often check up on her and dance partner James Jordan, saying: "Billy's on the phone to James every day saying, 'How is it going?' and James says, 'Where does your wife get all the energy from?'. I was trying to make Billy jealous by being all over James!"

Speaking of her plans for Christmas, she joked: "We won't be dancing round the living room. I'll be having a lie down, thanks."
