Jason Donovan has revealed that he will be taking Strictly Come Dancing seriously.
Donovan, who will be dancing with Kristina Rihanoff, explained that he will be doing a lot of training in an attempt to do well in the competition.
"I think you have to," he said. "If you're going to do a competition like this you have to go on there with some sort of sense of wanting to achieve something. Otherwise it's a waste of time.
"But fundamentally I just want to learn to dance better than I have done in the past. But this is not my comfort zone."

Meanwhile, Rihanoff revealed that she had been "praying for weeks" to be partnered with Donovan.
"I hope [this is my year]," she said. "Just to work hard and know that the other person is really keen on working hard [is good]."
Elsewhere, Donovan joked that he is used to the male grooming required on Strictly Come Dancing thanks to his theatre roles, but added: "I won't be waxing."
