'Strictly Come Dancing' Rory Bremner 'not planning to do impressions'

Rory Bremner has admitted that he wants to avoid doing impressions on Strictly Come Dancing.
However, the comedian explained that he often begins to impersonate other people if he is feeling anxious.
"I probably do a few more impressions when I'm feeling a little bit nervous," he said. "But actually what's nice is not to have to do them."
Bremner added that some viewers may be hoping for him to show off his imitations of the judges.
"People say, 'Oh, it would be lovely if you could do Bruno, it would be lovely if you could do Len', so I'll keep that in the locker if I need it," he joked. "And I'm sure Craig will say, 'Darling, you may be an impressionist but you didn't impress me'."

Bremner continued: "I do turn into Bruce when I come into the studio, because you fnish a dance routine and there's just a vacuum, and you hear this voice inside your head and it comes through your mouth going, 'How about that, didn't they do well?' and all that sort of stuff.
"So I don't want to do impressions - but on the other hand, it is quite fun."
Bremner also revealed that he will take the competition seriously, saying: "I don't think I'm competitive but if I do something, I want to do it properly.
"I'm a chameleon - hence the fake tan, actually. The first thing chameleons do is change colour so I've changed colour. Basically, if I can't be a dancer I want to try and look like a dancer."
The Strictly Come Dancing launch show will air on Saturday at 6.10pm on BBC One.
