'Strictly Come Dancing' Tess Daly tips Michael Caine for future series

Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly has tipped Michael Caine for a future series.

The 42-year-old, who hosts alongside Bruce Forsyth, hopes that the veteran actor will consider joining the ballroom dancing show next year.

"Michael Caine once told me he was a big fan of the show and never misses an episode," she told TV Buzz. "Ready when you are Michael."

Meanwhile, Daly also revealed her favourite Strictly romance. The star said that her favourite couple over the years has been former EastEnders actress Kara Tointon and her dance partner Artem Chingvinstev.

"There have been a lot of secret romances, but I loved Kara Tointon and Artem Chigvinstev last year," she added.

Strictly Come Dancing launches tomorrow at 6.10pm on BBC One.
