'Strictly' Robbie Savage: 'Craig Revel Horwood made me cry'

Strictly Come Dancing contestant Robbie Savage has revealed that he was reduced to tears by Craig Revel Horwood's comments on the show.
The Welsh ex-footballer claimed that he was "totally different" to the tough persona built up during his sporting career, adding that he broke down after receiving a low score for his first ever dance.

"I was never a hard man. I'm quite quiet and I don't like confrontation," he told The People. "Before live shows I'm a bag of nerves and I go pale, in spite of the fake tan. The minute the music starts I'm gone.
"After Craig gave me two out of ten for my cha cha cha on the first show, I went back to my hotel room with my mum and just cried. I was devastated."
However, Savage insisted that he is still "loving" the Strictly Come Dancing experience.
"It is unbelievable how much my Saturdays have changed," he declared. "Standing next to Sir Bruce Forsyth and competing with people like Holly Valance is surreal.
"It's definitely the hardest thing I've done in my life. But I'm loving it and I want to stay in for as long as possible."
Savage announced before his Strictly debut that he hoped the show would "prove people's perceptions wrong".
