The One Show presenter slipped down the leaderboard at the weekend after she disappointed the judges with her rumba.
Jones and James Jordan only picked up 25 points for the routine.
Jordan ended up in a spat with Len Goodman and Craig Revel Horwood for their negative comments about the dance.
Horwood stood by his remarks on It Takes Two, insisting that he wasn't being personal with his criticism.
"Sexless and cold. I mean it because of the dancing," he told Zoe Ball.
"The way that you can make it sexy is through hip action. It was quite apparent that nothing was going on with the hips. If you can get a nice long juicy line with the hips then you will appear sexy.
"It's nothing to do with her personally. It's always judged on the dance. Anytime I use those analogies, it's as a choreographer. Sometimes people need to think of themselves as lions or tigers. Even panthers."
He added: "I don't ever get personal."
