Jason Donovan: 'My Strictly Come Dancing honeymoon is over'

Jason Donovan has played down his chances of winning this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

Speaking to The Sunday Telegraph, the actor declared that his "honeymoon is over".

Donovan said: "In one way I'm relieved. I now see it with a different perspective - as entertainment. I had to think, 'It's a show'. Chill out man, no one is going to die here."

When asked whether he wants to win the show, Donovan answered coyly: "I want to get the most out of it," tipping other celebrities to go further.

"Harry Judd and [actresses] Holly Valance, Chelsee Healey and Anita Dobson, who are at the top of the leaderboard. And then there is Russell Grant. Where do you begin? He gets the public vote. And the professionals will tell you some of the best dancers didn't catch the public imagination," Donovan added.
