Dell'Olio and Anton Du Beke were eliminated from the BBC One dance show at the weekend after their rumba failed to impress the judges or viewers at home.
Speaking on It Takes Two, the lawyer compared her departure to turning off the lights at Christmas.
"This is a competition and every week a couple has to go out. But I think the moment after we danced, the lights went off on the Christmas tree," she said. "The Christmas tree is without lights."
Dell'Olio also took another swipe at the Strictly judges, who she is rumoured to be taking legal action against because of comments at the weekend.
"It is a game we play, but some of the comments from some of the judges were absolutely unnecessary and extremely rude sometimes," she said.
"There is a fine line between entertainment and absolutely unnecessary."
Alesha Dixon told Dell'Olio that she needed to close her legs more and claimed that her performance would have been better if she had remained in the prop coffin.
