The 'Kiss Kiss' singer will perform with Brendan Cole this weekend after Chigvinstev was forced to step down from the contest with a transverse process fracture of the lumbar spine.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Valance said that she hopes viewers will accept the new partnership.
"It's been a very different week for me, but we've turned it from something negative and scary into something fun to watch... hopefully," she said. "Fingers crossed the audience will approve of my dancer switch-up."
Valance said that she has formed an "awesome threesome" with Chigvinstev and Cole, but realised that the pair in fact have "very different" techniques.
"Artem's been at training, he's choreographed it, so we're very much an awesome threesome at the moment," she said.
"They are very different teachers and they have very different dance styles. I've learnt over the weeks how Artem moves and I've been able to read him, but now I'm back at scratch again with Brendan. I'm just trying to catch up as quick as I can. We want to make it look seamless.
"They are both very passionate. Artem is more serious. Brendan is more enthusiastic and tries to psyche me up more. I'm just very lucky to get to work with two professional dancers."
Cole was voted out of Strictly Come Dancing along with his original partner Lulu last week.
Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight (Saturday) at 6.55pm on BBC One.
