The final of this year's Strictly Come Dancing will be broadcast in 3D live to select Apollo cinemas.

On Saturday, December 17, the final from Blackpool's Tower Ballroom will air at London's Apollo Piccadilly, in addition to cinemas in Altrincham, Burnley, Carmarthen, Leamington, Rhyl, Stroud and Torbay.

Apollo marketing manager Nicole Oakley said: "We're delighted to be able to bring the glitz and glamour of Strictly Come Dancing to our screens.

"We're calling all budding Len Goodmans, Bruno Toniolis and Alesha Dixons to grab their score cards, dust off their dancing shoes and join in the fun.

"And while we can't vouch for the dancing, we can certainly guarantee that the quality of the evening will be a perfect 10!"

Tickets are priced at £7, plus £1 for 3D glasses.

The screening also includes The Road to Blackpool, a programme of the series so far and new interviews with the judges.
