Chelsee Healey and Jason Donovan scored perfect marks in last night's Strictly Come Dancing semi-final.

Waterloo Road actress Healey was the first celebrity of the series to pick up 40 from the judges after she wowed the judges with a paso doble.

Craig Revel Horwood dished out his first ten of the series, describing the star's Latin routine as "gobsmackingly good". Pasha Kovalev, her pro partner, was applauded by head judge Len Goodman, who joked that the dance should be renamed the "Pasha doble".

Alesha Dixon added: "I'm a little bit speechless. Honestly, honey, I don't think you realise how good you are."

Australian actor Jason Donovan later equalled Healey's feat, matching her perfect marks for his Argentine tango routine. Len Goodman claimed that Donovan and Kristina Rihanoff had saved their best dance for the semi-final. Earlier in the evening, Donovan had scored 34 points for his samba.

Despite scoring perfect marks, Healey and Donovan were not top of the leaderboard. McFly's Harry Judd topped the scores, with his two dances both picking up 39 points.

Only three celebrities will make it to the Blackpool Tower Strictly final next week. Holly Valance, Alex Jones, Healey, Donovan and Judd will find out who has reached the finale in tonight's (December 11) results show on BBC One.
