Emma Bunton and Jimmy Tarbuck are among the stars lined up for the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Set to join them in the reality show's next outing are England rugby player Matt Dawson, ex-EastEnders actress Louisa Lytton, presenter Carole Smillie, Coronation Street's Ray Fearon, former Manchester United star Peter Schmeichel, cricketer Mark Ramprakash and comedian Jan Ravens.
Host Tess Daly promised the celebrities would make October's series as entertaining as ever. “The series is set to be bigger and better than ever," she commented. "Where else could you see a Spice Girl dancing alongside Jimmy Tarbuck?”
Others competing will be Casualty's Georgina Bouzova, former Emmerdale actress Claire King, Mica Paris, newsreader Nick Owen and DJ Spoony.
A change to the BBC One series will see men only competing in the first week then women in the second.
