Their Samba to the sound of Tina Charles' "I Love to Love" failed to impress judges Arlene ("looked like it was from Southsea, not Sao Paulo"), Bruno ("the morning after a Club 18-30") and Craig ("clumsy, limp, lacklustre"), especially after Claire got so carried away that she didn't stop dancing at the end of the song. Len, however, said the pair had done "a blimmin' good job."
Having earned a 25 out of 40 score from the judges, the viewer vote placed them in the bottom two with Carol Smillie and Matthew Cutler, who had earlier earned a 30 out of 40 score.
