Smith has become the bookmakers' favourite to win the series following the launch show last weekend when he was partnered with pro dancer Flavia Cacace.

However, the silver medal winner said that there is no chance he will be flashing his pecs or abs to earn votes from female viewers on the show, arguing that he might get shown up by some of his fellow co-stars.
"I don't think I'll go topless," he told Digital Spy. "Some of the pro girl dancers have got better abs than me! So I'll keep that under wraps."
Smith also revealed that he had already started suffering from injuries after only a week of training, revealing that his body won't be able to handle gymnastics and dance sessions at the same time.
"My bum cheeks are aching from training," he said. "I can't combine this with gym, my body couldn't handle it."
Strictly's first live show airs on Friday, October 5 on BBC One.
