She was replaced by Iveta Lukosiute, but has since revealed that she will rejoin Ball in two weeks if he is still in the competition.
"So after evaluating my MRI the doctor said I'll be able to go back to boogying in 2 weeks time! #fastrecovery," Vilani tweeted.
Ball's new partner Lukosiute recently praised the TV presenter.
"After the first phone call, I didn't know who I was going to dance with or what had happened," she explained.
"I haven't seen his shows in Lithuania, but I've seen lots of things he's done [since] and I've read all about him and I think he's amazing."
