Andy R commented: "I used to be a fan of both, but it's Strictly all the way now. XF has had it's moment. There is still room for a show like this but not in it's current format."

NJS77 said: "Strictly is not contrived like X Factor and offers honest family entertainment without the same old script. Strictly this year has been bigger and brighter. Time to put Louis and his hair piece to bed!"

Leanne_T wrote: "I started watching Strictly this year for the first time in ages and prefer it to X Factor this year which is surprising as I've always loved X Factor but its a joke this year."

Phil Shipp joked: "I prefer the pub lol."

Strictly continues on Saturday, November 11 at 6.30pm.

The X Factor follows at 8.05pm on ITV1.
