UKTV Gold picks up 'Dancing With The Stars'

The new series features Spice Girl singer Melanie Brown, actress Jane Seymour and Marie Osmond, and begins on September 24 in the US on ABC, with an hour-long show on three nights each week. Click here for full details.
UKTV Gold is believed to be looking to air the show in a 3-hour Friday night 8pm slot for a 10-week run from the end of September.
Strictly Come Dancing judges Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli appear on the panel alongside dancer Carrie Ann Inaba. Confirmed guest stars for the series include singers Dolly Parton, Avril Lavigne and Gloria Estefan.
The show is produced by BBC Worldwide for ABC. The fourth season is currently being shown by BBC One on Sunday afternoons.
