Shock as Gabby is voted off 'Strictly'

Gabby Logan has become the latest celebrity to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing, despite being favourite to win the show.

The sports presenter was placed in the bottom two alongside Penny Lancaster and her dance partner. They then had to perform a dance-off in front of the judges, who then decided to keep Rod Stewart's wife in over Logan.

According to The Sun, presenter Bruce Forsyth was fuming at the decision and advised: "Next week, remember this is a dance contest." But his comments were edited out.

Judge Bruno Tonioli was surprised at the result, saying: "That was absolutely ridiculous. A fiasco."

Viewers were also left shocked that Logan was booted out, while dancers such as her husband Kenny Logan and Kate Garraway managed to stay in.

Gabby said of the decision: "I’m old school: ‘The harder you practise the luckier you get’. So my exit was rather a shock."
