"Toughest week" for 'Strictly' contestants

The remaining Strictly Come Dancing contestants have been battling through their toughest week yet.

The celebrity dancers were flabbergasted by Gabby Logan's shock elimination last week, which made them realise that no contestant is safe.

An insider told The Mirror: "This has undoubtedly been the toughest week of the series so far. Nobody expected Gabby to go. No one could have predicted that she and Penny would have been in the bottom two. It was a massive shock - there have been more than just a few nerves jangling since then."

Letitia Dean is believed to be worried about tonight's performance, following a series of embarrassments in rehearsals with her dance partner Darren Bennett.

The source revealed: "She's been trying her hardest but has ended up looking very inelegant and landed in a heap on the floor several times. Letitia has been laughing about it and comparing herself to a 'squashed hedgehog' and 'roadkill', but you can tell she's feeling nervous."
