Matt confirms 'Strictly' romance to pals

Matt Di Angelo has told friends that he is smitten with his Strictly Come Dancing co-star Alesha Dixon.

Rumours that the pair are an item first hit the press last month, after they were spotted dancing together at the Movida club in London.

A source told The People: "Matt and Alesha's relationship is an open secret among the stars of the show. They seem really happy together - and the relationship seems to have spurred them on to perform brilliantly.

"Matt's told a few people. But I don't think either of them really wants the romance to become the talking point of the series."

A Strictly spokesman said: "They get on well."
