Alesha Dixon to look at beauty for BBC3
Alesha Dixon is to front a documentary about the female form for BBC Three in her first television show since winning Strictly Come Dancing.

The show has a working title of Leave My Bits Alone. It will look at the popularity of lads' magazines featuring airbrushed models and whether the phenomenon is damaging to women.

It will be an hour-long one-off, scheduled to air in the spring, but is seen as a potential series in the future.

Dixon said: "I look forward to investigating and challenging our perception of female beauty in 21st Century Britain. The image of the female form is becoming increasingly divorced from reality, and I want to make people aware of the pressure society is subjecting us girls to."

Mark Soldinger is managing director of show producer Firecracker Films. He said: "Obviously we are thrilled to have Alesha sign with us on her first post-Strictly gig when the world is her oyster.

"She is bright, articulate and passionate about this subject area and we hope that this is her first authored film of many for BBC Three."
