Len Goodman in 'Strictly' salary row
Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman has demanded a massive pay rise from BBC bosses.

Head panellist Len has told chiefs that juggling filming for Strictly and Dancing With The Stars, the US version of the programme, last year was too exhausting. He warned that he is unwilling to commit to both shows again this year unless the BBC increases his £60,000-per-series salary.

A source told the Sunday Mirror: "Len wore himself out trying to do both shows at the same time at the end of last year. He was leaving the BBC studio and catching the plane to Los Angeles. It is just not possible to carry on like that - unless the money makes it worth his while."

A BBC spokesman said: "It is our policy not to discuss contracts."
