A Girls Aloud star (Kimberley Walsh), two Team GB Olympic icons (Louis Smith and Victoria Pendleton), a chap from Westlife (Nicky Byrne), a cheeky Essex girl (Denise Van Outen) and a former wife of a Rolling Stone (Jerry Hall) will be helping bring some sizzle to your weekends this autumn.
The BBC has pulled together one of its strongest bills for the show's 10th series and when Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly kick things off this weekend, the competition will be wide open for a winner.
While ex-Emmerdale star Lisa Riley and the show's oldest ever contestant Johnny Ball probably won't be dreaming of the Glitterball Trophy there are at least seven or eight hot contenders who fit the bill to go all the way.
Olympians Louis Smith and Victoria Pendleton will have public support and competitive edge on their side, while Nicky Byrne and Kimberley Walsh have shown during their pop concert days that they can bust-a-move and will have dedicated fanbases.
Denise Van Outen has a strong stage background, while CBBC star Dani Harmer, EastEnders legend Sid Owen and James Bond actor Colin Salmon are definite dark horses.
Cricketer Michael Vaughan has a tough act to follow, after the success of Darren Gough and Mark Ramprakash. Although Phil Tufnell did prove that not all cricketers are smooth movers.
We can probably expect Fern Britton, Richard Arnold and Lisa Riley to make up for a lack of finesse with personality and exuberance, but who will become this year's Russell Grant and be loved by viewers and the judges? Perhaps much-loved children's TV icon Johnny Ball will outdo all three of them.
