“ Space Cadets ”
The Space Cadets contenders, still fully duped, have taken part in some not-so-scientific experiments.
Producers have eventually got rid of the moth-in-the works and turned on the Imax screens, allowing cadets to look back on the earth.
This prompted Billy, getting a little philosophical, to reflect: "All the problems in the world just seem....minor."
He added, obviously oblivious to the Cadets scam: "You know, it doesn't seem real...I know it's real, but it doesn't seem it."
After a night's shift-sleeping, the crew were awoken by Duran Duran's Planet Earth and got down to what was apparently serious business.
One task was meant to test whether confinement on a shuttle would have a detrimental effect on the potential for reproduction in future space exploration. The cosmonauts were shown images on cards and asked to rate for sexual arousal.
The next would supposedly gauge dexterity in a scientific environment. To test how suited to scientific research and space tools competitors were, they were asked to make balloon animals.
