How are you enjoying the first few days of being famous?
"We're great, we're great. It's really good. We've been walking around today and already people are wanting to take pictures with us. It's still a bit surreal for us, but we're enjoying it. Having fun while we can."
Did you watch the show go out on Saturday night?
"Some of Ashley's family came around to my house and then we sat and watched it with my mum and dad. We all watched together. Some of them had been at the show in the audience, so they had already seen it, but there was plenty of people who didn't know about it. The phones went crazy, our Facebooks were going crazy. We had friend requests from all over the place."
What have Twist & Pulse done together in the past?
"We've been together for a year and a half now. We've done some shows in clubs and bars in the past. We also enter lots of competitions in theatres. We've played the Hackney Empire and O2 Indigo - places like that. Our biggest gig was probably however many people the Hackney Empire holds. That was a sold-out event."
Will you guys be going back to work part-time at B&Q?
"It depends how well this goes, really. Obviously the more we train, the better we will get. And the further we get on BGT, the more shows we'll get booked for and perhaps we won't need to go back! It's crazy. Because even now the YouTube views keep flying up. People just keep watching it. It's crazy to think that people are sat in their houses, as we speak, just watching us perform again and again. It's mad."
You've both trained at dance school. Will we see different dance styles if you make the semi-final stages?
"Maybe. We're not too sure yet. We'd like to stick to our strongest point which is street, but all the other stuff helps us technically. All the training and styles we have done makes us look cleaner and tighter. But I don't think you will see us doing any ballet dancing in the semi-finals or anything!"
What dance acts inspire you as a performer?
"I like a lot of American stuff. There is a company called LXD who are in Step Up 3. They are amazing. They use classical music, but do street dancing. They are the sort of people we look up to. They are the best underground dancers of America."
Were you disappointed that Simon wasn't fully behind your first audition?
"No, he said that he saw something good in us, so that's good enough for me. If we get the opportunity to perform for him again, hopefully we can pull him over to our side 100%. You can always improve and we know that. Him saying those things just makes us push ourselves that little bit further in rehearsals."
Amanda Holden described you as "the future" of dance. What did you think to that?
"That was really good. We always wanted to show to future generations that we could create this whole new street comedy dance genre. So for her to say that we are the future is exactly where we want to be. We've always had lots of girls on our Facebooks, but now we have aunties and mums joining us. Plus we even had a police officer who emailed us saying that we were a credit to young people everywhere. People taking their time out to show us their support like that is incredible."
You used the EastEnders theme and the Cheeky Girls as your backing music. Why did you pick those tracks?
"We've always got ideas for random songs and stuff. The more we rehearse, the more we come up with other stuff. It is always changing and you'll always see new ideas from us. All our families watch EastEnders and it's an iconic show, so that's why we chose to do that. The Cheeky Girls... they are just funny. When we came up with the move, we thought we had to do it. Everyone laughs at them, so we thought two guys doing it would be even funnier."
Britain's Got Talent continues on Sunday at 8pm on ITV1.
