Saxophone player reduces Holden to tears
A 39-year-old saxophone player draws an emotional response from Amanda Holden on this week's Britain's Got Talent.

Julian Smith appears at the Birmingham auditions, claiming that it would be his "ultimate dream" to play the instrument for a living.

"I'm married and I have two daughters, I know I'm not getting any younger and I want to make life better for them," he says.

"I'm hoping today could change everything for me, I want it more than anything."

Smith's performance of 'Somewhere, Somehow' from West Side Story stuns the panel and audience while reducing Amanda Holden to tears.

Another emotional audition takes place in Cardiff, where 12-year-old Shaheen attempts to impress with his singing.

After being told that he has got his performance of Amy Winehouse's 'Valerie' "really wrong" by Simon Cowell, the youngster is given a second chance by the panel.

His rendition of Michael Jackson's 'Who's Loving You' gets an immediate standing ovation from the audience and even forces a smile from Cowell.

Britain's Got Talent airs this Saturday at 7:55pm on ITV1.
