Mulhern: 'Brook couldn't cope with live TV'

Britain's Got More Talent host Stephen Mulhern has suggested that axed judge Kelly Brook could not have handled the pressures of live television.

The model and actress was booted from the main show after just six days, with creator Simon Cowell claiming that the "format doesn't support another judge". She later turned down an alternative position on the spinoff programme.

Speaking to The Sun, Mulhern said: "You need a certain standard if you are going to control a live show and from what I saw it wouldn’t have worked.

"The format with four [judges] just didn’t work. That wasn’t Kelly’s fault."

He added that although Brook was "lovely", he would not have worked with her if she had accepted the position on Britain's Got More Talent.
