Britain's Got Talent 'has replaced comedy'
Piers Morgan has said that Britain's Got Talent has replaced comedy programmes on UK TV screens.

Writing in his official blog, the judge said that he agreed with fellow panellist Simon Cowell who first made the claim.

Morgan said: "Simon often says that he thinks Britain's Got Talent has replaced traditional comedy shows on TV, and he's right.

"It’s hilarious to judge, and hilarious to watch back the superbly produced edited highlights."

He added that he "howled with laughter" while watching the third show in the current series from his Hollywood hotel room.
