The singer called the finalist on the ITV show overrated in a previous Twitter post, which led judge Piers Morgan to suggest that she was jealous of Boyle's success.
When asked who she was by one follower, Allen responded: "A member of the television viewing public."
She added: "It seems I made it on to ITV news this evening. Funny that the BBC and Channel 4 didn't seem to pick up on my tweets.
"It also seems that I am not alone in my SUBO views. I'd say 90% of you are agreeing with me. And by the way, overrated is not the same as bad."
When another follower asked her what overrated meant, she retorted: "Google it. My comments come up third after the dictionary entries. So ridiculous."
Allen added that she was "in tears" watching the "amazing" performance of 12-year-old Britain's Got Talent singer Shaheen Jafargholi on YouTube.
