The 17-year-old singer qualified for the final, in which he will face acts including Diversity, Flawless, Stavros Flatley, Shaheen Jafargholi and hot favourite Susan Boyle.
Smith told The Mirror: "Anyone could win. I've met Susan and she's lovely. But I think we're all on a level playing field going into the final. It's wide open.
"If nothing else comes of this it's been a brilliant experience - the best of my life."
After the audition phases, judge Piers Morgan suggested that Smith had enough of the "cool" factor to win the competition.
