BGT 'should look after Boyle better'

Susan Boyle's brother John has argued that Britain's Got Talent producers should have looked after his sister more than they have done over the past two months.

The singer's spokesperson recently denied claims that Boyle launched a foul-mouthed rant about fellow contestant Shaheen Jafargholi, while she was also involved in an altercation with passers-by outside her hotel on Wednesday.

John told The Sun: "She has been constantly hounded by fans for the past seven weeks. Like anyone she has a breaking point - she is only human after all.

"If I were in Simon Cowell's shoes, I would tell Susan she wouldn't be allowed on the show unless she got her act together."

He added: "Celebrities have professional people who insulate them from these stresses but she hasn't had this protection. The show's producers should have been looking after her more."

Piers Morgan recently defended Boyle following criticism from Lily Allen and Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood.
