Gordon Brown praises Diversity

The Labour Party leader spoke about the reality TV winners on GMTV this morning, claiming that their success is a sign that the British public do not support the far-right politics of the BNP.
"You have got Diversity coming in, a great example of diversity in our country, who have won, and people have said the greatest act in Britain's Got Talent," he said
"And at the same time you have got a party that is practising racism. I really don't think that is what the British public wants to see."
Simon Cowell described the 11-strong dance troupe as role models, commenting: "Diversity are a bloody good example to kids. When kids watch Diversity, they see it's all about hard work and talent."
Speaking at yesterday's winner's press conference, the group's leader Ashley Banjo said that they were unsure about their future plans after playing the Royal Variety Show for the Queen.
"I don't think a street dance group, especially from the UK, has come as far as we have," he said. "We can almost create our own path."
However, Banjo confirmed that the group would not be following fellow dancer and Britain's Got Talent winner George Sampson's lead and launching a pop career.
"None of us can sing," he laughed.
