Disney 'speaks to Cowell about Shaheen'

Disney executives have reportedly expressed an interest in signing up Britain's Got Talent finalist Shaheen Jafargholi.

According to The Sun, the company has contacted Simon Cowell about the possibility of giving the 12-year-old singer from South Wales a film career.

Cowell is said to be "keen in principle" about the prospect.

A source said: "Disney have been watching Shaheen. They are looking at potential movie roles that will make him an international superstar.

"It just shows the level of talent this year that one of the world's biggest film companies wants to sign him when he did not even make the top three. And Disney really know how to create superstars."

Welsh singing icon Tom Jones recently suggested that Jafargholi could benefit from more experience before signing a record contract.
