The 48-year-old singer is currently resting at the Priory clinic in London, after reportedly feeling mentally and physically exhausted following Saturday night's live final.
Speaking to Radar Online, Gerry Boyle said: "She can’t wait to come over to America to perform because she really appreciates how well the American public reacted to her story."
He went on to downplay reports that his sibling might have to pull out of the upcoming Talent tour and a scheduled trip to the US.
"Once Susan is feeling 100% I don’t see any reason why she couldn’t do the tour and also go across to America too," he said.
"There are a lot of offers on the table and it would be a matter of setting out priorities for her. She realises that Britain’s Got Talent as a competition is over and she is really concentrating on her future and is ready to embrace that.
"Even when she was feeling down she really appreciated the support that she received from people around the world especially from America...and she relates to the 'can do' attitude that America has to offer."
PR guru Max Clifford recently confirmed that Talent judge Simon Cowell was planning to help Boyle launch a singing career in the US.
