Boyle 'hopes to rejoin Talent tour'

Susan Boyle is reportedly planning to rejoin the Britain's Got Talent live tour after missing two performances in Manchester.

The show runner-up did not perform at the matinee or evening shows at the MEN arena yesterday, but she is said to be returning to the tour for tonight's concert at the Glasgow SECC.

Boyle's spokesperson said: "She sends her sincere apologies to her fans for not appearing in Manchester."

The rep added that the singer had given "three sensational performances" at earlier concerts in Birmingham and Sheffield.

Ticket holders for the Manchester concerts had the option of choosing a refund instead of watching the show, but a venue representative told the BBC that only seven people elected to do so over the two performances.

It had previously been revealed that Boyle would not perform on all legs of the three-week tour.
