Former Britain's Got Talent star Andrew Johnston has been forced to stop singing because his voice has broken.

The 14-year-old came third in the show's second series after performing as a soprano, and was later signed to Simon Cowell's SyCo record label.

However, he has now been told to stop singing to allow his voice to adjust, according to The Sun.

Johnston said: "It's quite annoying, but it's one of those things - you just have to wait."

The Scottish singer revealed that he was planning to train as a tenor and record more songs.
