The final ten performers to compete in the finale were recently announced, while they gave their final presentations for judges Morgan, Sharon Osbourne and David Hasselhoff this week.
"Biggest array of talent we have had in a season finale yet," Morgan told People. "Hardly a bad performance… Tough decision for America."
He added: "The Susan Boyle effect was massive. We saw thousands more people coming out to audition that wouldn't have done so. They saw the effect the show can have globally if you take a chance."
Boyle is to perform on the live results show, airing Wednesday, September 16 on NBC.
