The Britain's Got Talent runner-up sang show number 'I Dreamed A Dream' and forthcoming debut release 'Wild Horses' backed by a full orchestra, the Daily Mail reports.
An audience member said: "People were crying and cheering her after her performance."
In a pre-recorded interview, Boyle said: "I used to be a kind of spectator looking outward at the world. But now I'm part of that world and, though frightening, I'm going to embrace it."
Country singer Kevin Skinner won this year's America's Got Talent and was given the $1 million (£600,000) prize and the chance to headline a Las Vegas show at The Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
Earlier this week, Boyle was reportedly mobbed by thousands of fans when she arrived in Los Angeles ahead of her performance.
