The reality TV judge said that he was a fan of the more unusual acts on the show, admitting that they amused him.
"The auditions for the new series have been extremely unusual," he told The Sun. "There are some acts that I didn't think could magically exist. They are definitely the strangest acts ever.
"I do think this country is a very talented one, and no, it is not full of tragic nutters. People will be surprised by the variety of the new series, and it will be very entertaining. I, for one, like the crazier acts.
"I know Simon [Cowell] has particular tastes and finds it all a bit odd, but I sit there wondering why on earth they take it up. They make me laugh."
Morgan also argued that Britain's Got Talent has a more amiable judging panel than other reality shows.
"There is far less tension on Britain's Got Talent than there is on The X Factor. We all tease each other so much," he said.
"What I like about Simon is he is so thick-skinned. He takes it as well as giving it out. I love the banter between us all."
Britain's Got Talent returns later this month on ITV1.
