The keyboard player, who appeared on last Saturday's audition show with the classical pop group, asked whether the reality TV judge was married during an interview with the show's official wesbite.
"Is Amanda married?" he asked. "If she wasn't... If she's around tonight after the interviewing process, I'd happily take her out for a meal or something."
Holden married record producer Chris Hughes in December 2008. She was previously married for eight years to Family Fortunes comic Les Dennis.
