The duo, real names Ashley Glazebrook and Glen Murphy, said that they were taken aback by Amanda Holden's description of them as "the future" of dance on Saturday's audition show.
"We always wanted to show to future generations that we could create this whole new street comedy dance genre. So for her to say that we are the future is exactly where we want to be," Murphy told DS.
"We've always had lots of girls on our Facebooks, but now we have aunties and mums joining us. Plus we even had a police officer who emailed us saying that we were a credit to young people everywhere. People taking their time out to show us their support like that is incredible."
Murphy also claimed that they would be using Simon Cowell's criticism of their first performance to spur them on in the semi-finals.
"If we get the opportunity to perform for him again, hopefully we can pull him over to our side 100%," he said. "You can always improve and we know that. Him saying those things just makes us push ourselves that little bit further in rehearsals."
