Last week, it was revealed that Auto-Tune had been used for some X Factor contestants, leading to outcry from fans of the show. As more examples of the technique being used emerged, an insider from Britain's Got Talent claimed that Boyle's performances had also been improved in the production process.
However, Morgan has denied that any Auto-Tune technology is used on either Britain's Got Talent or America's Got Talent.
The talent show judge told MTV News: "You've heard Susan [Boyle] sing live here (at the Emmys). Sounds the same. Complete baloney.
"They also said we're apparently scripted with our lines as judges. News to me. It would have made life a lot easier if someone had told me what to say!"
Morgan added: "I think it's all been massively exaggerated. I think everyone should calm down a bit.
"Susan sings better actually live than she does in the auditions anywhere. That's what all the fuss is about anyway. I wouldn't worry. It's an entertainment show."
